Yuva Kala Sangamam
What is the Yuva Kala Sangamam?
The Yuva Kala Sangamam is a one day festival on August 17, 2024 presenting 6 young artists to the Valley from around the USA. We aim to bring the diversity of Indian classical art right to you from the up and coming generation of artists.
Application guidelines
- 1. You must be an artist under the age of 30 with performance experience.
- 2. You must specialise in a form of Indian classical art (vocal, instrumental, dance, etc).
- 3. We welcome groups! If you are a group, please submit one application.
- 4. We will be presenting 3 dancers and 3 vocalists/instrumentalists at our festival. Each performer will be given a 40 minute slot to perform.
- 5. We will offer each performer a travel stipend and honorarium. Groups will receive the same amount as individual applicants.
- 6. The application will close on February 29. No late applications will be accepted.
